porphyry-configuration-evidence-1.1.0 is a deterministic TypeScript rule layer over frozen traditional-planet longitudes and signed speeds. It does not alter the Swiss Ephemeris calculation or introduce additional planets.
Source and editorial policy
Porphyry, preserving material associated with Antiochus, describes adherence within three degrees and ray enclosure within seven degrees, with intervention disrupting enclosure. Stelliums implements those narrow geometric statements and keeps broader maltreatment families outside this ruleset.
Adherence algorithm
- Build each unique traditional-planet pair.
- Require conjunction, sextile, square, trine, or opposition eligibility.
- Measure absolute deviation from exact.
- Require an inclusive deviation of three degrees or less.
- Retain exact contacts; otherwise require the faster planet to be applying to the slower planet.
- Return the adherent and receiving planets, aspect, deviation, and exact or applying phase.
Ray-enclosure algorithm
- Generate sextile, square, trine, and opposition ray longitudes for Venus and Jupiter, then for Mars and Saturn.
- For every other traditional planet, identify one pair ray behind and one pair ray ahead within seven degrees of the target.
- Choose the narrowest valid interval for each pair nature.
- Search strictly inside that interval for another planetary body or configured ray.
- Retain the candidate and record active=false plus complete intervention provenance when intervention exists.
Regression boundaries
- Three-degree adherence and seven-degree enclosure endpoints are inclusive.
- A separating three-degree contact is not adherence.
- Conjunction is available to adherence but is not generated as a ray.
- Circular intervals crossing 0° Aries retain correct order.
- A target cannot enclose itself, and either enclosure pair member cannot be its own target.
- A body or ray at the target or strictly between the enclosing rays is eligible intervention.
Excluded judgments
The module emits no score, rank, event prediction, automatic benefit or harm, phasis or prominence claim, or automatic bonification or maltreatment verdict. Its bodily-enclosure records remain geometry under the published nearest-body, no-orb policy.
Bodily-enclosure algorithm 1.1.0
- Normalize all seven traditional-planet longitudes.
- For each target, find the unique nearest non-coincident body behind and ahead in zodiacal order.
- Reject a tie, a repeated body, or a mixed-nature pair.
- Accept only Venus-Jupiter or Mars-Saturn nearest-neighbor pairs.
- Do not impose a degree maximum; preserve both exact circular distances.
- Generate traditional rays for every other planet and retain any ray strictly inside the enclosing bodily interval as cancellation evidence.
- Preserve active or canceled status, range-policy identifier, bodies, distances, rays, and exact rules version.
Why there is no bodily degree orb
The source describes the bodily form as two stars enclosing one in the middle, then separately gives seven degrees to enclosure by configured rays. Version 1.1.0 therefore treats immediate zodiacal neighbors as the operational bodily range and declines to import the ray threshold into a different definition.
Regression boundaries
- Intervals crossing zero Aries retain correct order.
- Long bodily intervals remain eligible because no source degree orb is invented.
- Mixed benefic-malefic pairs return no candidate.
- A third planet ray inside the interval cancels active status without deleting the candidate.
- Exact co-location and tied nearest bodies remain unresolved.
