Stelliums planetary-sign-condition-1.0.0 is a deterministic sign-level ruleset. The application derives a planet’s tropical sign from normalized zodiacal longitude, compares that sign with the governed domicile and exaltation tables, and reports every matching relationship.
Source basis
Vettius Valens, Anthologies III.4, Table 3.2 records the exaltations of the seven traditional planets and identifies depression at the opposite point. The ruled-sign table uses the traditional domicile scheme already governing Stelliums house-ruler calculations. A modern historical study by Mathieu Ossendrijver is retained as a secondary cross-check on the Greco-Roman exaltation tradition.
Deterministic derivations
- Current sign = floor(normalized tropical longitude / 30).
- Opposite domicile signs = each domicile sign advanced by six signs.
- Depression sign = exaltation sign advanced by six signs.
- All matches are returned in a stable order; none is converted to points.
Version and reproducibility
The ruleset is stored as a published, approved registry record and identified in chart facts, workspaces, and reports. Older saved charts remain reproducible because the condition relationships can be derived from their stored planetary longitudes under the named rules version.
