Hellenistic astrology was constructed around the seven visible traditional planets. Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto were unknown to its source authors, so Stelliums never presents them as ancient rulers, dignities, sect members, dispositors, Lot participants, or time lords.
A contemporary opt-in observation lane
Some contemporary Hellenistic practitioners elect to observe the three later-discovered bodies while retaining the traditional framework. Stelliums supports that choice conservatively: the setting is off by default, belongs to the account holder, and adds a visually separate position ledger without changing the seven-planet calculation or interpretation lanes.
- Calculate exact geocentric tropical longitude, latitude, signed daily speed, and retrograde state with Swiss Ephemeris.
- Display zodiacal sign and Whole Sign place when a chart Ascendant is available.
- Keep the bodies outside traditional aspect matrices, rulership, dignity, sect, Lots, house rulers, dispositor chains, and time-lord selection.
- Include a separate report section only when the buyer explicitly selects it and the frozen chart contains all three positions.
- Do not import modern psychological, evolutionary, generational, or deterministic event claims.
Governed worked example
Worked example: Dallas 1990 optional layer
For the frozen Dallas reference nativity, engine 0.14.0 places Uranus at 6°37′ Capricorn and Neptune at 12°35′ Capricorn in the ninth Whole Sign place, with Pluto at 17°26′ Scorpio in the seventh. All three are direct at the calculated moment.
- Uranus: 276.628926°, Capricorn, house 9, direct, +0.057745°/day.
- Neptune: 282.575845°, Capricorn, house 9, direct, +0.037141°/day.
- Pluto: 227.433691°, Scorpio, house 7, direct, +0.020175°/day.
- The seven traditional planets, their condition, aspects, Lots, rulers, and timing results are byte-for-byte independent of whether this display lane is enabled.
How to use the setting
Enable Optional outer planets in Astrology settings, then recalculate older saved charts so the exact positions are stored with that immutable revision. A separate report preference can preselect the testimony at checkout; the final report choice remains visible and can be turned off before purchase.
